Bangor University (KESS Project)
Setters actively work in partnership with Bangor University, through the Knowledge Economy Skills Scholarship (KESS) programme, which involves sponsorship of a post-graduate student (Fraser Bailey) over a three-year period.
The main objectives and benefits of the KESS project are four-fold reflecting Setters’ approach to collaborative working:-
- To review and validate the theories, tools and techniques associated with the+people® Coaching Programme
- To provide Bangor University with exposure to clients and personnel in a wide a variety of high-risk industry sectors.
- To enable/facilitate the achievement of a Ph.D. qualification for participating student(s).
- To provide enhanced credibility and re-assurance for clients through academic validation.
The current KESS project commenced in late 2009 and Fraser’s ongoing involvement and contribution has added significant value and expertise to the Setters team.
